Our dry-product size bands are based on mushroom body length. Confirm exactly where measurement starts and ends after trimming, and specify any retained stem separately.

The 4–6 cm band is an alternative overlapping range. Agree boundary values and tolerances in writing. Size does not establish first-flush origin, cap thickness or whole-piece condition.

Retained stems: 1–2 cm
Specify a retained stem length if needed. Confirm whether your requested body-length measurement includes the remaining stem.
Appearance & integrity
Describe dark-brown or lighter appearance preferences, cap form, whole-piece condition and broken-piece allowances separately. Ask for lot photos or samples.
Small whole morels and broken pieces are different product descriptions. Longer stems, soil-bearing ends, fragments or irregular forms must be expressly described and accepted; they are not implied by a size band.

For your quotation, include preferred size, stem length, appearance, order quantity and destination. Small whole mushrooms and broken pieces should be described separately.
